The Intelligent Addressable (IA) Two-Pole Relay Module (M201EA-240) provides one two-pole voltage-free relay output, with one normally open contact, and one normally closed contact. The relay switches to the "on" or "off" state on command from the fire panel.
The module features a tri-colour LED status indicator. The fire panel can be configured to switch the indicator on, green, when the output relay is "on". The indicators can be set by panel command to pulse green each time the module is polled.
Two mounting holes and a pair of DIN rail clips allow the module to be installed in any type of enclosure, including a purpose-built surface-mount box (M200E-SMB). The indicator LEDs and address switches are accessible and visible in both DIN-rail and surface mount installations.
NZS 4512:2021 sections 2.3.4 and 4.2.5 prohibit the installation of mains cabling inside fire panels or ancillary control devices. When installed in an NZS 4512-compliant fire panel or ancillary fire alarm system device, the M201EA-240 must not be connected to 230 volt ac mains power circuits.
