The Analogue Addressable Single Channel Output Module (M201EA) provides a switchable output channel controlled by a fire panel over an analogue addressable circuit.
The M201EA may be configured in either of two operating modes:
In supervised mode, while on standby, the module supervises the output load wiring. When activated by the fire panel, the M201EA switches out the load supervision and switches in the external power supply. The M201EA also monitors the external power supply voltage, and raises an unlatched fault condition if the voltage falls below 7 volts.
In the unsupervised mode, the device provides a single set of form C (changeover) contacts without load or power supply supervision.
The M201EA has a single tri-colour green/red/yellow indicator, which can be set by panel command to pulse green each time the module is polled. If the module is configured (in Pertronic FireUtils) as a sounder output, the indicator lights up steady green when the output relay is activated. The indicator blinks yellow if the module detects a fault condition.
This module features a built-in isolator on the analogue addressable circuit. The isolator may be bypassed (Please refer to the installation instructions for details).
Screwdriver operated rotary switches allow the module address to be configured from either the front or one side of the module.
Two mounting holes and a pair of DIN rail clips allow the module to be installed in any type of enclosure, including a purpose-built surface-mount box (M200E-SMB). The indicator LEDs and address switches are accessible and visible in both DIN-rail and surface mount installations.
