Conventional C.O.+ Heat Detector

The Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Heat Detector (PC614) uses both CO and heat sensors. This combination enables an increase in the sensitivity of the CO sensor during a rapid temperature rise. This detector is suitable for detecting both slow-smoldering and fast-flaming fires.

The heat sensor also acts as an independent rate-of-temperature-rise detector with a 60 °C static threshold, as defined in AS 7240.5-2004 Class A1R.

This detector is well-suited to applications where heat detection alone is insufficient, but a smoke detector would be vulnerable to nuisance alarms.
