The Weatherproof Intrinsically Safe Manual Call Point (WCP3A) is a manually-operated fire alarm switch for use in areas subject to explosive atmosphere.
The WCP3A has a "break-glass" activating panel. When pressed, the glass breaks, activating an internal switch which triggers the alarm signal.
The WCP3A manual call point is supplied with a test key (SC070). When inserted into the call point, the test key triggers an alarm condition without affecting the glass panel. The WCP3A returns to normal when the test key is removed.
The test key is also used to remove the lower part of the front panel to change the glass panel.
To comply with the requirements of NZS 4512:2010, this manual call point must be fitted with a PS200 protective hinged cover (sold separately).
