Addressable Manual Pull Station

Parent products

The Manual Pull Station (MPS-PI) is a manually-operated fire alarm activation switch.

The pull station features a three-section front panel. To activate, press the middle section inwards, and then push the lower section downward until it locks into position. This activates an internal switch, triggering an alarm signal. The lower section stays in the activated position until it is reset using a key.

The alarm signal is communicated to the fire panel over the intelligent addressable signal line circuit (SLC).

The pull station has a hinged back-plate, and is held in the closed position by a key lock.

Operation

The pull station can be operated with a blunt hand, and does not require use of fingers, a striking action, tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. The activation force is less than 5 lbf (22 N).
