Black Fire System Components for a Smarter Look
In a building with black ceilings, consider installing black fire system devices to match the décor.
Most of our System Sensor detectors can be fitted with black detector covers in place of the standard ivory covers. The original detector cover is easily removed by releasing the plastic retaining clips. The black cover simply snaps into place. For analogue addressable systems, use the B501AP-BK black detector base to complete the picture.
We photographed a black System Sensor detector on a matte-black ceiling (above) at Berry Berry Nice café in the Lower Hutt suburb of Petone. The black ceiling is an important feature of the café's design, and the owner is very happy with the fire system.
