New VADs Now Available from Pertronic
The new range of indoor strobes is now available from Pertronic Industries. The Solista LX visual alerting devices address new NZS 4512: 2021 requirements for alerting deaf and hard of hearing building occupants.
Solista LX strobes are certified to Australian Standard AS 7240.23, one of several standards for visual alerting devices (VADs) referenced in NZS 4512:2021.
These VADs are suitable for bell circuits on 12 and 24 volt Pertronic fire alarm systems. They are available for wall-mount and ceiling-mount applications, and have configurable power levels and flash rate.
On high power the Solista LX wall-mount strobes are rated for 7.5 metre room coverage, with a 2.4 metre maximum mounting height (W-2.4-7.5). The ceiling-mount VADs on high power are rated for a 7.5 metre diameter coverage area with a 3 metre maximum mounting height (C-3-7.5).
Pertronic Australia has been supplying Solista LX VADs for almost four years, and they have been very well-received. We are confident they will be equally successful in New Zealand.
