Weatherproof MCP Gets Tanked
When we developed the Mk2 version of our weatherproof manual call points last year our testing confirmed they easily achieved an IP 65 rating. We knew they were better than that. So we installed a Pertronic weatherproof call point and a System Sensor IP 67 analogue addressable heat detector underwater in a fish tank. Four months later they were still working perfectly. Armed with the results of this not quite scientific test, we believe our weatherproof call points achieve a better rating than IP 65.
